About Prosperous Future

The application period is 28.11.2025 - 30.01.2026 23:59.

The Prosperous Future Grant programme for Civil Society Cooperation in the Nordic-Baltic Region supports Nordic organisations’ cooperation for a green, democratic, and resilient region with civil society in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and partners from civil society organisations with relation to Ukraine, as well as democratic, independent partners with relation to Belarus and Russia.

With Prosperous Future, the Nordic Council of Ministers aims to enable and strengthen people-to-people cooperation in the Nordic-Baltic region by supporting civil society and democratic development towards sustainable and resilient societies in line with Vision 2030.

The Nordic Council of Ministers has the vision that the Nordic region shall become the most integrated and sustainable region in the world by 2030. To fulfil Vision 2030, the Nordic Council of Ministers has three strategic priorities: a green region, a competitive region, and a socially sustainable region.

To attain the vision, all initiatives shall mainstream the three cross-sectoral perspectives: environmental and climate, gender equality, and a child rights and youth perspective.

Furthermore, Prosperous Future will contribute to the achievement of Goal 3, and Sub-goal 3.1, as defined by the Ministers of Nordic Cooperation (MR-SAM) for the period of 2025–2030:

  • Goal 3: Nordic perspectives must be secured both regionally and internationally.
  • Sub-goal 3.1: Strong regional co-operation and knowledge exchange with central actors nationally, regionally and internationally.
